She is actually not a rescue dog (she was the runt in a litter), but considering all the times I've had to rescue her from certain death, you might call her one after the fact.
Why does she always get into trouble? Well, besides her small size, she's the kind of silly goose who backs up into your path when you take a step forward, the type who leaps before she looks and thinks she's the size of a Doberman Pinscher and can fly! When she sees something she wants (mostly food, doggy friends, and human coddling), she goes for it!
Her (non-biological) twin sister, however, is a rescue dog (same breed and black and tan coloring but not runt-sized), and the two are inseparable.
