Akiko is a rescue who came to Montreal from Taiwan.
Here she is being driven to her safe haven, eleveneleven rescue.
Sitting in the passenger seat of the car she's staring forward with SUCH concentration it's hard not to wonder if she was "looking forward" to a new and happy future. (I also wondered what she thought of the snow.) There's a hint of a smile there too!

Spot of anthropomorphising going on there... But I suppose we all do it all the time. Big questions: Do animals have souls? A sense of humour? A conscience? Imagination?
Anyone out there have a view?
